“I know nor want to know anything about the ins and outs of cars. I want it to be reliable, function as intended, and be a good value. I came to Colorado with a little sporty sedan that I used to zip around and squeeze into spots in Chicago but it wasn't for Denver or the mountains. I decided to upgrade and reached out to my car-enthusiast friend about the 2021 Lexus NX I found at AutoNation who asked if I was having the car looked at by a third-party auto consultant.
Coincidentally, I knew Tanner from a previous interaction and knew about AutoInsight so I reached out. Tanner met me at AutoNation Arapahoe the next morning and checked out the Lexus NX. Fortunately, the issues he found were minor (though they forgot to top off all fluids which were below low, to which Tanner brought to my attention to mention to the salesperson before signing paperwork) and AutoInsight/Tanner gave me the confidence to make the investment in the used Lexus.
[AutoInsights…] fees are completely reasonable (especially when you consider the cost of a car) and even the Manager at AutoNation told me that Tanner was a pleasure to work with as they get some rough auto consultants in there who are looking for problems. Tanner found a couple things like a dent on the roof of the SUV that he informed wouldn't rust, as well as a crack [in the headlight seen from under the Hood] in the engine area that wouldn't affect the integrity of the car nor worsen as it was tiny. Things I never would have seen or noticed.
I highly recommend AutoInsight to anyone looking to buy a used car as they examine it with a fine-tooth comb and will give you peace of mind in your used auto investment.”
